Meet Stephen

(he/him): Event Production & Collaborations

Building Community, One Connection at a Time

Stephen brings a rare combination of deep empathy and hands-on expertise to LGBTQ+ wellness events and community organizing. His background spans medical services, bar and restaurant launches, and large-scale event production — and at the center of all of it is a genuine commitment to the queer community. Stephen builds bonds quickly and naturally, turning one-on-one relationships into powerful collective efforts.

Why OSTC

Stephen says, “I feel aligned with this organization because with care and love, OSTC puts others first. Individually the therapists are all so warm, welcoming and genuine… while OSTC as a whole, there’s a feeling of community and acceptance that’s so unabashedly natural it leaves you feeling appreciated and seen.”

A Career Rooted in Care and Community

Stephen's dedication to others took root as an EMT in Washington State, where showing up for people in their most vulnerable moments wasn't a job — it was a calling. He carried that ethos to New York, where he channeled his collaborative strengths into building businesses and producing events that raised meaningful funds for community-driven nonprofits. Now based in Los Angeles, Stephen has found another home at Open Space Therapy Collective, where he serves as event coordinator and co-producer of Queerly Connected, a bi-annual LGBTQ+ wellness and community events.

Life Outside of Work

When he's not producing queer wellness events and community programming, Stephen is most likely underwater — scuba diving is a full-on obsession. He's also a thoughtful advocate for informed and guided psychedelic therapy, and above all, a lover of people and all their unique quirks that make them who they are.
