Where You Are Is Enough

Let’s be real — you’re overwhelmed. There’s an endless pile of things to do, and somehow you’re also supposed to squeeze in self-care. Maybe you feel like an outsider, struggling to meet your own expectations, trying to “figure it out” and find where you belong. You might even understand what’s wrong on a logical level — but overthinking hasn’t helped the anxiety and stress. So, where do we go from here? Let me start by saying: you are not broken. You are exactly where you need to be — taking the first step toward acceptance and healing.

A Space to Unmask and Be You

We don’t live in a vacuum, and I hold a deep understanding of how capitalism, white supremacy, cisheteropatriarchy, and other systems of power shape our nervous systems and relationships. I bring warmth, humor, political clarity, and deep respect for your lived experience. This is a space where you can unmask, show up fully, and be your wonderful, weird self.

Therapy That Honors Your Whole Self

I work from a relational, abolitionist, anti-colonial, trauma-informed, and strengths-based framework. You’re not a problem to be fixed — you’re a co-creator in this process. That means therapy is a collaborative space where you can explore your sexuality, gender expression, creativity, relationships, and cultural connections at your own pace, without needing to justify yourself or “perform” healing.  I integrate somatic tools and psychodynamic therapy to support you in connecting with your whole self.

Rooted in Lived Experience

I am a non-binary, queer, mixed race black person of color and have a Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Southern California and am an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker 129122). I completed my undergraduate degree at The University of Texas with focus in Middle Eastern Studies, History, and Political Science. This background helps inform my understanding of people as individuals that also exist in relationships to their environment and systems that surround them.

Outside the Therapy Room

In my free time I enjoy cross stitch, video games, performing arts, and community building. You are just as likely to find me snuggled up with my dog on the couch saving hyrule from a great calamity as you are to catch me out at a live music or comedy show.
